"I was very reluctant to work with a dietitian because I didn’t understand what they could offer that I didn’t already know, and I didn’t want to give up a certain amount of control. Kellie quickly discerned what I needed and was amazing at knowing how much she could push me without overwhelming me, and how to give practical steps to help. She is very knowledgeable around eating disorders and the many facets of how they affect other areas of your life. I found that I quickly came to trust her and value her opinion. Now I can’t imagine where I would be without Kellie’s help and her dedication. I was surprised and appreciative of her knowledge around pregnancy and ED. She also helped me to learn to accept my weight and recognize that it is healthy. I have worked with many dietitians and she truly is one of the best. She is genuine and caring, but she also knows when she's talking to my eating disorder. She keeps a sense of humor, I love working with her and would recommend her to anyone!"

"Before meeting Kellie, my life consisted of: obsessive meal planning, disordered eating patterns, starvation, overexercising and sleep deprivation. As far as providers go, Kellie played the most active and the most critical role in my recovery. She accompanied me during a scary and unpredictable time in my life. She not only provided me with education around nutrition and healthy exercise, but provided me with support in addressing my fears and anxieties. She provided a safe environment, where I always felt respected and accepted. She was the first individual who made me feel strong enough to challenge my "ED". It has been about a year and a half since I reached my target restoration weight, and it has been about a year since I stopped working with Kellie. Since then, I have been able to continue my recovery journey equipped with the tools that Kellie supplied me with during our time together. I know that I would always be able to reach out to her if ever needed. I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her. "
